• Gluten free french fries. Say that three times and smile each time! No kidding. We were in NYC for the NYC Half Marathon. My daughter ran in the race and we drove down to cheer her on. Afterwards, we treated Jessie and one of her friends to lunch at Bloom’s Delicatessen on Lexington Ave. and 40th. They have an entire gluten free menu, sandwiches on toasted gluten free tapioca bread – not my favorite, but heck, it was a sandwich. And the pickles and coleslaw were gluten free to boot. I was one happy camper.

Bloom’s is just one of many options in NYC for gluten free dining. Do a search for gluten free restaurants or gluten free menus and you’ll be dazzled by the number of places you can eat that offer gluten free fare. So, the next time you’re in the Big Apple, have no fear. You will have lots of choices for safe gluten free dining, for sure.

So if it NYC has gluten free menus, it should take NCarolina…..5-10 years to catch up!? However, I will be taking a trip to NYC in the fall hopefully!
