Yesterday, I posted about my weekly menu. For dinner last night, I made TALT sandwiches. I imagine you might be wondering what TALT stands for.
T = Tempeh Bacon
A = Avocado
L = Lettuce
T = Tomato
It was delicious. The picture is open-faced so that you can really see the different components. We also had coleslaw and Spicy Sweet Potato Fries. I used Vegennaise to slather on the sandwiches and for the coleslaw dressing (which also included apple cider vinegar and agave syrup). And there were leftovers, so I know what I’m having for lunch today!
What’s on your menu for today?
This recipe is shared on Friday Food Fix at The W.H.O.L.E. Gang.

served with brown rice and veg’s.
Not too original-but tomorrow stuffed
peppers in the Crockpot.
That looks pretty amazing, I am going to try it. I’ve been veg 20 years, GF only 6 months, so it’s still a bit of a struggle combining the 2 cuisines (thank goodness for Thai food!). What brand of tempeh bacon did you use? I thought the one in my health food store contained soy sauce made with wheat.
Grack – it was amazing! And so delicious! I made the tempeh bacon from scratch – see the link in my post. It links to fatfreevegan’s blog – you’ll see her recipe which I followed to a T.
