I received my Bachelor of Music degree from Boston University and a Master of Education degree from Arcadia University. Six years after being diagnosed with Celiac Disease and living a 100% gluten free life, having developed a passion for nutrition and health, I enrolled as a student at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC, a cutting edge health coach training program, graduating in 2012 as a Certified Holistic Health Coach.
During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. The health professionals I studied with included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine, Dr. David Katz, Director of the Yale University Prevention Research Center, Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University, and Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating as well as many other leading researchers and nutrition experts.
I believe whole-heartedly in the theory of bio-individuality. I learned to look at each person individually and approach their health from the perspective of what is best for them. What is optimal for one might not be for another. My education equipped me with extensive skills and a broad knowledge base in holistic nutrition, health coaching and a way to approach health from a preventative standpoint, as opposed to addressing symptoms after they’ve appeared. Drawing on my education, skills, knowledge and experience living a 100% gluten free (and dairy free) life, I work with clients to help them make food and lifestyle changes that yield real and longstanding results. I want to help my clients be the very best they can be.
